12/20/1844 -The Bab offers 19 lambs as a sacrifice in the prescribed manner and gives the meat to the needy.

20 Dec 1844 The Báb stands at the Ka'bih (holiest shrine of Islam) and declared three times in the presence of 100,000 pilgrims that He was the Qa'im (the Promised One) awaited by Shi'ih Muslims.

20 Dec 1920 Construction begins on the House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois.

12/20/1928 - Hippolyte Dreyfus-Barney, Disciple of Abdul-Baha dies in Paris
