December 28th in Baha'i History

12/28 -12/30/1978 - The West African Bahai Women’s Conference is held in Monrovia, Liberia

12/28/1984 - First National Youth Conference held in Athens, Greece

12/28/1988 - Sean Hinton, 22 yr old British Bahai arrives in Ulaan Baator, Mongolia working as an ethno musicologist. First Bahai to reside in Mongolia. The UHJ named him a Knight of Baha’u’llah.

12/28/1995 - The first Teaching Conference of Lithuania is held in Vilnius, attended by Baha’i’s from 5 countries

28 Dec 1999 The Universal House of Justice reviews the Kitáb-i-Aqdas and announces that the laws of fasting, obligatory prayers, ablutions and chanting the Greatest Name 95 times per day are now binding on all Bahá'ís.
